I have photographed Miss S a few times since her newborn session, she was one of my “watch me grow” babies, and each time is so much fun! Her mama and I always come up with a session concept that tells the story of who she is at that particular moment in her life. For her first birthday, we went to a local cupcake shop in Gilbert and let her walk around and explore. For this, her second birthday, we decided to stay at home and show off her new swimming skills! Miss S graduated ISR that week, so it was only fitting to jump in the pool and have some fun. (I’ll add here that underwater sessions are always done with the utmost prep and supervision. Not only was Miss S swimming to and from her mom, but dad was sitting on the edge of the pool within arm’s reach.) We first played in the yard, getting sweet smiles and cute expressions from her by singing songs and playing games. Then, an outfit change, including a handmade crocheted swim-cover that was perfect for “lounging” with her best furry friend Pepper. 2 year olds have a short attention span, so soon she was ready to swim! In she went, and so did I. A few splashing photos and then the super cute fishy-face photo and we called it a wrap. At our order appointment, Mom & Dad decided to add a few additional canvases to their ever growing wall display!
